We’ve had barbecue across the country over the years, including from the most famous places in St. Louis and Kansas City. This place beats those out. It was one of the best barbecue meals I’ve ever had. Brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were phenomenal. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and it is a must visit on the island.

Two words, The Rockstar. It's a jalapeno popper on steroids and totally worth the lipitor script you'll need afterward. The pork ribs are smoked to perfection and fall off the bone awesome. The moist brisket can be cut with a credit card it is so soft. The staff is friendly and attractive. As of writing this, they are remodeling an indoor dining area, so I can't say too much about that, but if you need a smoked meat thirst quenched, Porky's Pit is the place to go on SPI.

Our new favorite spot to eat!! Pulled pork nachos - HEAVEN! The brisket is tender and juicy! Yall need to try this spot. Penny is wonderful and knows her stuff. Pitmasters are definitely doing the damn thing. Yuuummm! Will be back here for more!

Definitely the best food I’ve had since I been on “the island”. Nice people I dig the food trailer picnic table atmosphere and the price is about right for bar b q of this portion as served. But hey...screw this humidity. When ice water isn’t cold, a cool ocean breeze isn’t, and there’s more traffic than on the drive through San Antonio to get here!? No tropical laid back paradise...like a bunch of drunk rats racing around a small cage. Hurricane anyone!?

I’m writing this while I’m eating because it’s so good I couldn’t wait another minute to write the review. In town on vacation and wanted something local and different... I would give Porky's 20 stars if that were an option. The ribs are so tender they fell off the bone while picking them up, and were very delicious. The pulled pork is absolutely amazing!! But what we will crave for months to come is the brisket!! I have never had a brisket with this much flavor. Absolutely delicious. HIGHLY recommend!
